The Kimi Browser Extension, formerly Kimi WebBridge, is a Chrome and Edge extension from Moonshot paired with a local bridge service. It drives the browser over the DevTools Protocol, uses the sessions you are already signed into, keeps the work on your machine, and supports Kimi Code, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Hermes and OpenClaw.
BrowserOS neo starts from the same principles and draws the line in a different place. It is a browser dedicated to agents, signed in as you after a one-click import, with tab isolation, a cockpit and a replay of every run, and nothing installed into the browser you use yourself.

What is left is whose window. the Kimi extension borrows yours, which is why there is nothing to install or import. neo gives agents their own, which is why there is. Everything else follows from that one decision.
